Feedback 2nd Draft

Filming

My first draft of filming was handed in, there are a few changes which I need to do. The feedback which I have received is that the split screens are a really good idea with the audience able to understand the plot. I am finding it really hard to find copyright free music which ties to the short film. The re filming will be done within the week but with my main actress out on uni open days i am going to find it hard to finish my film.

Starting Filming =/

With the deadline for the first draft to be handed in with the next week i need to capture all my video footage. As I have chosen to have two films running side by side this means that i have to edit and capture two videos which is double the work. This complicated idea could see me falling behind. The snow has been a real problem as the school has had snow days on which it is closed also with the snow on the floor it means that continuity would not match as half way through the film it would all disappear which would not look professional.

Target Audience Feedback

I pitch my ideas to my target audience and this is some of the feedback I got given back -

> Presentation
- Presented well
- Good use of bullet points
- An improvment I could make is that the colour of the background was green and the writing is black so some people found it hard to read.

- Intertext of 24 is a good program to look at

- Improvments
- How will this film appeal to the male audience
- What other media texts would they enjoy

I am happy with the feedback back i have been given. I will take this feedback into account and change my research so it fits more to my target audience.

We have been given extra time to redo our ancillary and the final redraft has to be in after x mas holiday. I don't need to change anything for my film poster but i need to change the film review so it looks more like empire magazinee

Pictures

I took my pictures for the re draft of my ancillary task yesterday. I had a little problem with lighting. I took many pictures so i know at least one of them will be good enough and have enough lighting for a good quilty picture.

Just have to add the new photos to my poster and review =)

I have been given my feedback from Mr Chart

I have a bit of work to do for example i will re take my pictures. But overall i feel that my first draft was good and that means that i haven't got that much extra work to do over the next week and a half.
